20-Something-Year Olds Hospitalized In Somerset Crash That Closed Road For 8 Hours Two people in their 20s were hospitalized with serious injuries in a crash that closed a Somerset County roadway for eight hours overnight, authorities said. A Lexus UX was heading south on Easton Avenue when it crossed over the double center line, and crashed into a BMW M6 going north on Easton Avenue around 12:45 a.m. in Franklin Township Saturday, Dec. 31, Somerset County Prosecutor John P. Shooting Victim Dies In Jersey Shore Roadway, Suspect Surrenders: Prosecutor A 41-year-old Neptune Township man surrendered to authorities in the killing of another man his age overnight, the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office said. Michael Westbrook has been charged with murder, weapons offenses and hindering in connection with the death of Amad Jones, of Oceanport, Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond S. Santiago said. Family Feud Turns Deadly When Son Kills Dad In Camden County: Prosecutor A 44-year-old Camden County man has been charged with aggravated manslaughter in his 75-year-old dad's death after an argument took a heated turn overnight, authorities said. Five Shot In Jersey City, Teen In Custody Five people were shot in Jersey City in separate incidents on Thursday, Dec. 29, and a 16-year-old boy has been charged in one, authorities said. The first incident happened around 9:30 p.m. when the boy shot a 14-year-old victim in the left thigh at Armstrong Avenue and MLK Drive, city spokesperson Kimberly Wallace-Scalcione said.
