14-Year-Old Bicyclist Shatters Mini Cooper Windshield In Glen Rock Crash A 14-year-old boy was seriously injured after somehow ending up on the windshield of a car he collided with in Glen Rock Wednesday, Dec. 28, police and witnesses said. Photos from the 1 p.m. scene at Delmar Avenue and Pinelynn Road show a Mini Cooper with a shattered windshield. The boy was rushed to Hackensack University Medical Center with serious injuries by Glen Rock Volunteer Ambulance Corps. The driver of the Mini Cooper was not injured. Woman Found Dead Along NJ Highway On Christmas ID'd By Police Police have identified the person who was found dead near a Route 1 car dealership on Christmas as a 31-year-old Trenton woman. Stephanie Carmody's body was found in the northbound shoulder of 3466 Route 1 — a former car dealership — around 5:25 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 25, after multiple 911 calls were placed, West Windsor police said. The WWPD Detective Bureau took over the investigation in conjunction with members of the Mercer County Prosecutor's Homicide Task Force (HTF). Driver Killed In Prince George's Crash ID'd As 36-Year-Old Woman Authorities in Prince George's County have identified the driver killed in a Friday, Dec. 23 crash as an Upper Marlboro woman. Diega Chartelle Clapp died when she lost control in an SUV heading south on Indian Head Highway near Berry Road in Accokeek and struck a utility pole around 1:55 a.m., county police said. Fire Rips Through Rahway Restaurant Firefighters from across Union County rushed to Rahway responders' aid to put out a massive restaurant fire Tuesday, Dec. 27. Flames were shooting from the roof of Monchy's Colombian Grill on Main Street when firefighters arrived around 2:40 p.m. The fire quickly climbed to multiple alarms. Same Stunt, Different Day For Repeat Road Rage Driver In Prince William Police Custody Again A 58-year-old Manassas driver last week found himself in a familiar place in less than a month: Police custody. Luis Amilcar Ayala flashed a handgun at a driver in another car during a road rage incident on Sudley Manor Drive and Tartan Hills Parkway around 10 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 23, Prince William County police said. On Nov. 27, he did nearly the same thing at Sudley Road near Sunnygate Drive, police said.
