Girl Disappears From Philadelphia Home In Middle Of Night, May Be With Her Dad: Police A search has been launched for a 6-year-old Philadelphia girl who disappeared from her home sometime between 3 and 6 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 27, police said. Zaniyah Stewart may be with her dad, Matthew, who frequents 56th and Market streets. The girl's mom said her daughter was missing from their home on the 300 block of N. 61st Street when she woke up. Anyone who sees Zaniyah or Matthew is urged to call 911.

Police ID Pair Rescued From Maryland Small Plane Crash A 66-year-old man and woman were rescued after being stranded 100 feet up for seven hours with serious injuries from a small plane that crashed into a power tower in Montgomery County Sunday, Nov. 27. Young Man, Woman Killed In Baltimore Crash A 23-year-old woman and 22-year-old man were killed in a crash Sunday, Nov. 27 in Baltimore, officials confirmed. A 2008 Nissan was headed west on the 2900 block of W. Northern Parkway when the driver lost control, crashed into the median strip, and flipped over several times around 3:40 p.m., police said. Homeless Man Assaults Newark Fire Captain With Food Can A Newark fire captain putting out a fire at a homeless encampment was hospitalized after a homeless man struck him with a can of food, city officials said. The firefighters had just finished putting out the blaze under Route 21 at Riverside Avenue when the man struck the captain with the can around 11 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 27, a statement reads. The captain was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries and the homeless man was arrested, and taken to the hospital for crisis evaluation.
