What goes around comes around, and for Judah Mintz, that's a slap to the face. The Syracuse guard who hails from Prince George's County was ejected from the Saturday, Nov. 26 game against Bryant University apparently after slapping another player — who slapped him right back. Driver Dies After Car Flips Into Toms River Marsh
A 28-year-old Toms River man died after his car overturned into a marsh Saturday, Nov. 26, authorities said. Paolo Helfers-Lariva was believed to have been speeding southbound on Hooper Avenue when he lost control and overturned into the water at the South Shore Driver intersection around 2:25 a.m., Toms River police said. Two occupants were able to free themselves but Helfers-Lariva remained trapped and submerged. Armed Robber Makes Off With $10K On Black Friday In Newark
Authorities in Newark are seeking the assailant who robbed a check-cashing business of $10,000 at gunpoint. The robber pointed a handgun at two workers at Global Check Cashing on Bloomfield Avenue in Newark on Friday, Nov. 25, took the cash and then fled north on Garside Avenue on a silver/purple mountain bike, Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Man Jumps 30 Feet Into Creek After Five-Car Crash On I-95 In Bucks: Report
A man was conscious and alert after jumping 30 feet off I-95 into a creek below following a five-car crash early Saturday, Nov. 26 in Bucks County, Levittown Now reports. The initial call at 5:18 a.m. said one person had been ejected in the northbound crash at the Bensalem and Bristol Township border, responders soon learned that victim was a jumper into Neshaminy Creek, the outlet said citing Newportville Fire Company Chief John Doster. A 16-year-old teenage boy is being charged as an adult with murder after police say he told a friend that he had just killed someone and then showed them the victim's bloodied legs and feet of his alleged victim, authorities in Pennsylvania said. FBI Probing Calls That Cleared Virginia Beach Walmart Stores On Black Friday
A pair of threatening phone calls that evacuated two Virginia Beach Walmart stores on Black Friday are being investigated in part by the FBI, local police said. An employee at the Salem Crossing Walmart took the first threatening call sometime before 12:30 p.m., and evacuated the store out of an abundance of caution, police said.
