Popular Peruvian Restaurant Opens Another North Jersey Location A popular North Jersey Peruvian restaurant chain has opened yet another location. The Lomo Truck's fourth location is now open on River Drive in Garfield. The restaurant has other locations in Woodland Park, Passaic and Jersey City. Suburban Philly Man Surrenders In Sex Assault Of Child: Police A 35-year-old man has surrendered to police in the sexual assault of a juvenile over the summer in the Philadelphia suburbs, authorities said. Juan Munoz-Cruz had been wanted in the Aug. 15 incident by the Westtown-East Goshen Regional Police Department, they said. An arrest warrant was issued for him, and he eventually turned himself in on. Munoz-Cruz was charged with unlawful contact with a minor, indecent assault and corruption of minors. Bucks Bridge Jumper, 29, Rescued From Delaware River With 2 Broken Legs: Police A 29-year-old Pennsylvania man was rescued nearly 200 yards down the Delaware River from where he jumped off of a New Jersey bridge, and hospitalized with both legs broken over the weekend, authorities said. The Furlong, PA man had parked his vehicle on a Stockton, NJ bridge around 11:15 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, then jumped into the water, New Jersey State Police Sgt. Alejandro Goez said. The Bridge Commission reported the vehicle stopped on the bridge, bringing authorities to the scene. 18-Year-Old Driver Charged In Crash That Killed Off-Duty Philadelphia Officer An 18-year-old man has been charged in a June crash that killed an off-duty Philadelphia police officer, authorities said. Aleksandr Melnikov was charged Friday with homicide by vehicle, involuntary manslaughter, reckless driving and more, in the crash that killed Henry Gosnki III. Gonski was trying to cross Bustleton Avenue after his shift when he was T-boned by Melnikov in a BMW, according to CBS News and local police. Jersey Shore Man Is Latest Jeopardy! Champ The newest Jeopardy! champion hails from the Jersey Shore. Cris Pannullo, of Ocean City, beat out four-day champ David Sibley, winning $29,579. Pannullo went into Final Jeopardy with $29,800. The question? "While working for British Naval Intelligence during World War II, he was code-named 17F." While Pannullo did not guess the correct answer, he did wagered $221 and won. He will compete again Monday night.

Massive Search Launched For Atlantic City Man A search has been launched for a 39-year-old Atlantic City man missing since Sept. 26, authorities said. Mark Farley is described as a white male, 6’0” tall, approximately 225 pounds, with blue eyes and balding. He may be in the area of Bayville, Ocean County. Jersey Shore Fire Chief Tim Pfleger Dies, 32 A Jersey Shore fire department is mourning the loss of their chief. Keyport Fire Department Chief Tim Pfleger, 32, died over the weekend, the department announced on Facebook. Pfleger had been hurt in an accident returning from the fire academy in July, NJ Advance Media reports. Pfleger joined the department as a cadet in 2007. The following year, he joined Keyport Fire Patrol, having served as a lieutenant and captain. In 2019, Pfleger was elected as the Third Assistant Chief of the Department.
