Oscar C. Lindenberg, 85, Of Chestnut Ridge CHESTNUT RIDGE, N.Y. -- Oscar C. Lindenberg, of Chestnut Ridge, died Tuesday, Nov. 24 in Manhattan. He was 85.  Lindenberg was born May 21, 1930, in the Bronx.  Funeral Services will be at 10:45 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 29 at Hellman Memorial Chapels, 15 State St., Spring Valley, with Rabbi Schwartz officiating. Interment will follow at Beth David Cemetery, 300 Elmont Road, Elmont.

He was 87.  He was born Nov. 17, 1928, in the Bronx, to Frank and Ann Spears Taylor. Five Shots Fired Into Stamford Home As Residents Slept STAMFORD, Conn. -- Several bullets were fired into a home on Spruce Street in Stamford early Friday morning, according to police. At about 4:15 a.m., residents reported that several gunshots were heard and several rounds entered their apartment as they slept, police said.  Officers arrived and saw five bullet holes through the kitchen window of the residence, police said in a statement.
