Oscar C. Lindenberg, 85, Of Chestnut Ridge
CHESTNUT RIDGE, N.Y. -- Oscar C. Lindenberg, of Chestnut Ridge, died Tuesday, Nov. 24 in Manhattan. He was 85.
Lindenberg was born May 21, 1930, in the Bronx.
Funeral Services will be at 10:45 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 29 at Hellman Memorial Chapels, 15 State St., Spring Valley, with Rabbi Schwartz officiating. Interment will follow at Beth David Cemetery, 300 Elmont Road, Elmont.
Local Teams Play In Guy Mathews Invitational Hockey Tourney In White Plains
The Guy Mathews Thanksgiving Invitational Hockey Tournament begins Friday at Ebersole Ice Rink in White Plains.
The annual hockey tournament was renamed after Guy Matthews, a longtime White Plains High School guidance counselor and coach, who died in the fall of 2014.

Frank Taylor, 87, Of Wappingers Falls
WAPPINGER FALLS, N.Y. -- Frank Taylor, a Wappingers Falls resident, died Nov. 26 at home. He was 87.
He was born Nov. 17, 1928, in the Bronx, to Frank and Ann Spears Taylor. On July 26, 1953, he married his wife, Christina Veronica Taylor, at Our Lady of Solace Church in the Bronx.
Taylor was a retired New York City firefighter.
He is predeceased by his wife of 61 years.
Taylor is survived by his daughters, Mariann Jackson and her husband Gerald and their children, Kathryn Ilardi and her husband Sal Ilardi, Kelly Jackson, and Gerald Jackson III and his wife Lauren Jackson, and his son…
