'The Sandlot' Actor Stops By Demarest Movie Night DEMAREST, N.J. -- Bergen County resident Wil Horneff, who starred in "The Sand Lot," made a Saturday appearance at Demarest Movie Night to celebrate the end of baseball season. The event was sponsored by the Demarest Recreation Commission and Demarest Athletic Association at Wakelee Field.  Horneff, who now owns Training Grounds Jiu-Jitsu and MMA in Westwood talked about what it was like starring in the film at age 12 and took photos with fans of all ages at the event.

Coast Guard Searches For Man Missing Off Bridgeport BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- The search continued Monday morning for a man whose raft capsized off Seaside Park in Bridgeport on Sunday, the U.S. Coast Guard told the Connecticut Post.The Coast Guard’s Long Island Sound Group was searching for Shigemune Mori, 31, in the water off Bridgeport, said the report. Mori was reportedly with another man who swam to shore when the raft turned over, officials told the Connecticut Post.
