Man Bites Woman, Violates Protective Order, Newtown Police Say
NEWTOWN, Conn. — Officers arrested a man on a warrant Friday, April 22, on charges of violating a protective order and assaulting a female victim, according to Newtown Police.The charges stem from a March 9 incident in which Ricaardo Rojas was with a woman who had a protective order against him, according to police.
Rojas bit the woman and damaged her vehicle while they drove through Newtown, according to police.
Rojas was charged with criminal violation of a protective order third-degree assault, criminal mischief, tempering with a motor vehicle and criminal trover, said police.

Cool, Rainy Weather Headed For Bridgeport
FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. — Showers are headed to Fairfield County, arriving in the early morning hours on Tuesday, cooling things off and lasting all day until evening, according to the National Weather Service.Monday will be mostly cloudy, with temperatures near 67 degrees and light winds.
