Thunderstorms Possible As Rain Hits Fairfield FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- It will be a wet, raw Tuesday in Fairfield County with periods of rain and possibly heavy thunderstorms. The bulk of the storms is expected to arrive arrive at around 1 p.m., according to the National Weather Service. Some of the storms could produce small hail, the NWS warns.
