Police Investigate Reports Of Shots Fired In Norwalk NORWALK, Conn. -- Norwalk police are investigating reports of gunshots fired Wednesday in the area of the Washington Village housing complex on the Day Street side, police said.Police responded to reports of gunshots at 9:18 p.m. When officers arrived there was a large group of people walking away from the area, police said. Officers interviewed people in the group and subsequently located two shell casings in the roadway along with two handguns, according to police. New Rochelle's NR Future Draws Millennials To Mixer NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- An NR Future Millennials Mixer drew many participants to the event held Friday, April 8, at NoMa Social in New Rochelle, according to nrfuture.com. More than 60 people attended, including locals and students from the College of New Rochelle, Iona and Monroe colleges, attended the mixer replete with food, appetizers, disc jockey and dancing. Future events like these are being planned by the organization helping to re-shape downtown New Rochelle.   NR Future has a monthly $250 grant specifically for millennial engagement.
