Born on April 18, 1944, in Chicago, Robert Philip Hanssen is a former FBI agent who spied for Soviet and Russian intelligence services against the United States for 22 years from 1979 to 2001. He is currently serving 15 consecutive life sentences at ADX Florence, a federal supermax prison near Florence, Colo. Hanssen was arrested Feb. 18, 2001, at Foxstone Park near his home in Vienna, Va., and was charged with selling U.S. secrets to the Soviet Union and subsequently the Russian Federation …

New Fairfield Home Destroyed By Fire NEW FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- A family was displaced because of a Sunday night house fire in New Fairfield, the News-Times reported.It is not clear what caused the fire that claimed the house at 21 Jewel Lane, according to the News-Times.
