Rockland Community College Revises Earth Day Schedule
SUFFERN, N.Y. -- The free lecture set for April 20 was rescheduled, and already took place April 13 instead, the only revision to the Earth Day schdule at Rockland Community College in Suffern, according to an announcement. On Thursday, April 21 at the Student Union, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., the following is scheduled: Eco-friendly vendors (room 3214) Yoga class (room 3217) Pet a snake (room 3114). Fourth-Graders Invited To Darien Depot Spring Party
DARIEN, Conn. -- Fourth graders are invited to the Darien Depot Spring Party Friday April 22.There will be pizza, face-painting, a DJ with games, basketball, ping pong, foose-ball and four-square. The cost is $20 at the door and no RSVPs are necessary. The snack bar will also be open if you choose to bring extra cash. Hudson Valley Man Charged In Theft, Forgery Of Relative’s Checks
LLOYD, N.Y. -- A Saugerties man was arrested for stealing and forging a relative’s checks, New York State Police said. The New York State Police – Highland BCI arrested Nikolaus Gastio, 33, on Tuesday, April 12, charging him with two counts of second-degree forgery, a felony, and one count of petit larceny, a misdemeanor, police said.
