Blue Mountain Middle School Competes In Destination Imaginaiton CORTLANDT, N.Y. -- Two teams from Blue Mountain Middle School competed in the Destination Imagination Eastern Regional tournament at Mercy College last weekend. One of the teams, Team VIIPZ, is moving on to state-level competition in Binghamton April 9. Each team competed in an Instant Challenge round, which involved an unplanned challenge (either structural- or performance-based), followed by a Team Challenge that both teams had prepared for over the past few months. Ridgefield Selectmen Seek To Limit Tax Increase To 3.5 Perccent RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- The Ridgefield Board of Selectman is looking to limit the tax rate to a 3.5 percent increase, the Ridgefield Press reported. The board does not agree with a 5.72 percent increase for the school budget that Superintendent Karen Baldwin was seeking, according to the Ridgefield Press.
