Trumbull Pension, General Fund Ordinances Approved TRUMBULL, Conn. -- Three ordinances proposed by Trumbull First Selectman Tim Herbst met with the town council's approval Monday, said the Connecticut Post.The ordinances include a resolution to require the Annual Required Contributions for Trumbull pensions have full funding, to keep the town's minimum balance of 10 percent in its general fund and to prohibit pensioners, police officers and family members from town pension board and police pension commission service. Danbury's Broadview Middle School Names New Principal DANBURY, Conn. -- Edie Thomas, principal of Pembroke Elementary School, has been named as the new principal of Broadview Middle School and will begin her new position July 1, the Danbury school board said in a press release.
