RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- Curbside Compost provides Ridgefield households with a pick-up service to dispose of food leftovers.In an effort to improve environmental sustainability, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, lower the amount of organics sent to waste-to-energy plants and landfills, benefit soil and address how households and businesses are disposing food leftovers, town residents Nicholas and Erica Skeadas started the company.

Police: Man's Leaps From Window During Drug Raid In Stamford
STAMFORD, Conn. -- A city man reportedly leaped from a window Saturday after police raided his home on Fairfield Avenue and allegedly found him to have a gun and drugs, said the Stamford Advocate.The suspect, Antonio Robinson, 21, was reportedly seen by police making the jump from a window on the second floor with a gun and jar filled with marijuana, and a scale in his hands, plus a scale in his hands, Stamford police Capt. Richard Conklin told the Advocate.
