Convenience Store Dropped From Big Y Plan For Shelton SHELTON, Conn. -- An attorney for the developer told Shelton's Planning and Zoning Board at Tuesday's meeting that the Big Y was dropping an 800-square-foot convenience store from its grocery store plan, said the Shelton Herald. Shelton P&Z Commission Chairman Ruth Parkins said the Big Y will stick to its original proposal, reported the Herald. The new store is is slated to open in October, the Herald said.
