Weather Warms Up This Week As Spring Arrives In Bridgeport FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. — A sunny outlook is in the forecast for Tuesday with spring weather lingering throughout Fairfield County into Wednesday. Outside exercise or trips with kids to a park will be especially pleasant once Tuesday morning's cold front leaves the region. Areas north and west of New York City will see a mild day, with highs approaching 70 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. Metro-North, NJ Transit Officials Prepare For Possible Strike NJ Transit and Metro-North have devised plans in case NJ Transit rail workers go on strike this weekend, according to lohud.com. It is possible that the contingency plans play out on Monday if an agreement is not reached before Sunday between Metro-North and a group of 17 rail unions, said lohud.com.
