Scarsdale Rehab Center Vigil Aims To Address Working Conditions
SCARSDALE, N.Y. – Employees, residents, family members, clergy and elected officials at Sprain Brook Manor, a rehabilitation/nursing facility in Scarsdale, are planning a candlelight vigil Thursday.
The vigil is to encourage Sprain Brook Manor's owners to improve working conditions at the facility.
It is set for 3-5 p.m. at the center, 77 Jackson Ave., Scarsdale.
In November, employees at Sprain Brook Manor held a forum to discuss serious problems in resident care with nursing home workers, Sprain Brook residents and their families, local officials and community leaders.

STRATFORD, Conn. -- Christopher Walsh of Milford, known as the “White Sock Robber,” pleaded not guilty Tuesday to raping a woman at the Stratford boat launch, according to Connecticut Post.In choosing a jury trial, Walsh, 32, pleaded not guilty to first-degree sexual assault and first-degree unlawful restraint in front of Superior Court Judge Robert Devlin, the article said.
Police said Walsh held up victims at Trumbull and Stratford hotels and outside a bank in Trumbull with a white sock on his right hand in 2008, thus earning the nickname, said the report.

Paris Trip On At Easton/Redding Barlow High School
