Englewood: Lead Paint Prevention Slated for $10 Million Funding
ENGLEWOOD, N.J. -- A fund to prevent lead poisoning, often used since 2004 to aid budget balancing, would gain $10 million via a bill that has been approved by an Assembly panel, according to NJ Spotlight.
The legislation was sent to the full Assembly by the Assembly Appropriations Committee Thursday vote and if it is approved, the state Senate, which agreed to legislation that is similar in June, would need to again vote on it, says NJ Spotlight.
