Electrical Issue Causes Entergy To Shut Down Indian Point 3 BUCHANAN – An electrical issue resulted in the shutdown of the Indian Point 3 reactor, according to officials. Entergy, which owns the plant, says the shut down occurred automatically about 7 p.m. Monday, according to lohud.com. Entergy says a high-voltage transmission line caused the issue on the non-nuclear side of the plant, says lohud.com.
