Paramus Gymnasts Earn Top Rankings At Regional Competition
PARAMUS, N.J. -- Eighteen of 30 young athletes from Eastern National Academy of Gymnastics in Paramus placed in the top three in the Chesapeake Competition, with four teams taking home second-place prizes last weekend in Baltimore.Top scorers include:

Woman Charged With Stealing From Macy's In Jefferson Valley Mall
YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. -- A Cortlandt Manor woman was arrested Saturday after allegedly stealing merchandise from the Macy's in Jefferson Valley Mall, according to Yorktown Police.
Naomi Olga Jemenson, 51, is charged with petit larceny, a misdemeanor, police said.
At about 4:16 p.m. Friday, police responded to a report of a shoplifter in custody at the Macy's located at 700 Lee Blvd., according to police.
It is alleged that Jemenson concealed items in a used Macy's shopping bag, and then allegedly passed all points of purchase exiting the sore without paying for the items totaling $322.96,…
Susanne P. Lebrija, 68, Brunswick, N.J. Native
WESTPORT, Conn. -- Former Westport resident Susanne (Sue, Susie) P. Lebrija died at home Dec. 11. She was 68.Born on March 23, 1947, in New Brunswick, N.J., to John and Edith Pino, she was the oldest of four children.
Lebrija spent her early childhood in New Jersey until her father moved the family to Mexico City, Mexico, in 1955, where they lived for 10 years. She attended Colegio Merici, an Ursuline school.
Lebrija met Javier Lebrija in Mexico before moving back to the United States for a brief period of time before marrying and settling in Mexico in 1966.

Port Chester Middle School Marks 50th Anniversary
PORT CHESTER, N.Y. -- Former students, faculty and staff are invited to a trip down memory lane Tuesday, Dec. 22, at Port Chester Middle School to commemorate its 50th anniversary.
There will be entertainment featuring a preview of the school's production of "Into the Woods," with the faculty and staff chorus, the choir, brass and vocal ensemble, and jazz and sax bands.
Tours will be given throughout the day at 8:30 a.m., 11:18 a.m., noon and 1:30 p.m.
Each tour will begin in the main lobby on the second floor and followed by a PowerPoint presentation in the library.
