Register Now For Greenwich Education Alliance Turkey Trot GREENWICH, Conn -- All runners and walkers are invited to participate in the Greenwich Alliance for Education’s fifth annual Turkey Trot at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 28 in Bruce Park. Participants may choose from a 5K race or a non-competitive 1-mile run/walk. Both will begin and end at the Arch Street Teen Center at 100 Arch St. The sponsors are Cadillac of Greenwich and Hospital for Special Surgery. Two Men Charged With Stealing U-Haul In Bridgeport BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- Two men were arrested on larceny charges in connection with an incident involving a stolen U-Haul on Monday, according to Bridgeport police. On Nov. 16, an officer saw a white U-Haul moving van parked near the corner of Texas Avenue and East Main Street, police say. The U-Haul was registered in Arizona, and had been reported stolen earlier in the day, according to police. The officer approached the vehicle, and found three occupants, two men and one woman, police say.
