Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Alert Issued For Missing Woman A 39-year-old woman has gone missing and authorities are asking for help in locating her. Jennifer Shedd was last seen in Western Massachusetts on Wednesday, Oct. 13 in the early morning. She was last heard from, via cell phone, at 3:53 p.m.the Westfield Police Department said. Her phone has been off since Thursday, Oct. 14. She hasn't shown up to work in the past three days. ID Released For Man Killed After Being Struck By Jeep On Long Island Roadway The identity has been released of a man who was killed in a crash on a Long Island roadway. The crash happened just before 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 16 in Old Brookville. A 36-year-old man was operating a 2014 Jeep southbound on Glen Cove Road when the vehicle struck the pedestrian, Nassau County Police said. Wrong-Way Drunk Driver Crashes Into Several Cars, Connecticut State Police Say A Connecticut man driving the wrong way and under the influence struck several cars overnight, according to state police.
