Jon graduated from Cornell University and received his master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. Across a 35-year career, he's worked as a reporter for daily newspapers in Chicago, New York, Ohio & Washington, D.C and as managing editor for weekly newspapers in Rye, White Plains and Harrison.

Jon also writes periodically for the Cornell Chronicle.

Student Charged In Bullying Attack On Jersey Shore A new criminal charge has been filed against a girl involved in a bullying incident following which 14-year-old Adriana Kuch died by suicide, authorities said. The unnamed juvenile is facing conspiracy to commit aggravated assault in addition to the previously filed complaint alleging harassment, according to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer. At approximately 3:05 a.m., the Gloucester Township Police Department received a 911 call for a person shot at the 800 block of the North Black Horse Pike, according to the Camden County prosecutor.
