Pleasantville native Jon Craig is special editor for the Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Orange and Dutchess Daily Voice sites. He is also the primary reporter for Daily Voice Plus Politics in Westchester and Fairfield.

Jon graduated from Cornell University and received his master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. Across a 35-year career, he's worked as a reporter for daily newspapers in Chicago, New York, Ohio & Washington, D.C and as managing editor for weekly newspapers in Rye, White Plains and Harrison.

The 2023 GMC Sierra was later discovered near the Tropicana Casino in Atlantic City, according to Stafford Township police. Authorities ID Victim, Possible Cause Of Fatal Toms River Fire A 76-year-old man was killed in a fire that broke out in a Toms River mobile home on Thursday, Feb. 16, authorities said. The fire at the Roberts Road home that killed Billy Kimbrough was also ruled accidental, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer said. The fire originated on a mattress in the only bedroom of the home and that smoking could not be eliminated as the cause of the fire. A post mortem examination of the victim is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 18.

Driver Dies During Medical Emergency On Route 78 A motorist died during a medical emergency that resulted in a crash in Hunterdon County, authorities said. New Jersey State troopers responded to a motor vehicle crash on Route 78 westbound near milepost 20.2 in Lebanon Borough at 2:14 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16. Based on a preliminary investigation, the driver of a Chevy Silverado suffered a medical emergency and subsequently struck the center median guardrail, State Police said.
