Man Who Made Illegal Turn In Yorktown Had Multiple Active Bench Warrants Making an illegal right turn at a red light on Route 6 resulted in a Carmel man being arrested in Yorktown Thursday night. Lennox Miller, 41, was charged with driving with a suspended license. His license was suspended because he failed to answer a summons and for failing to pay child support, police said. Miller had an active bench warrant out of Carmel and an active arrest warrant out of New York City, both for traffic offenses. Miller was released on $250 bail and turned over to the Carmel Police Department following his release. He is due back in Yorktown Justice Court on June 6.

Solanus Casey was beatified by Pope Francis on Thursday, with the church attributing a miracle to him. Beatification is the next step on the road to becoming a saint. Casey, who died in 1957 at age 86, would be the first American-born male Catholic saint. Casey's first assignment was at Sacred Heart Church in Yonkers.
