An (almost) lifelong Westchester resident, Sam has reported on all facets of Westchester since he graduated from Ryerson University with a degree in print journalism, including stints at North County News and The Examiner. A film columnist for WAG Magazine, Sam's moviegoing expertise has been profiled in the New York Times and he was a featured guest on VH1's Big Morning Buzz Live.

Bees Swarm Pleasantville Tree PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. -- It was an un-bee-lievable sight in Pleasantville Wednesday. A beekeeper had to be called in after a swarm of bees was discovered at a tree at the corner of Wheeler Avenue and Bedford Road. No stingings were reported.

Rep. Faso Undecided On Vote For American Health Care Act Congressman John Faso (R-Kinderhook) could be one of the key votes on whether new health care legislation passes. As of Wednesday afternoon, Faso, who represents the 19th District, which includes a part of Dutchess, remains undecided on whether he will vote for the American Health Care Act. Nineteen Republicans have already said they will not vote for the bill and Republicans can only afford 23 defections.
