Man Caught After Stealing $1.4K In Pharmaceuticals From CVS, Police Say YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- A 33-year-old man is under arrest after Yorktown Police say he stole $1,462.13 worth of pharmaceutical items from CVS on Commerce Street. Ramel Allen of New York City resident was arrested and charged with grand larceny in the fourth degree, a Class E felony. On Tuesday, April 25, a manager at CVS reported three men and one woman fled the store with the pharmaceutical items without paying, police said. Pelham Basketball Player Named To All-State PELHAM, N.Y. --Davis Allen, a senior at Pelham Memorial High School, was named to the New York State Sportswriters Association’s All-State Basketball Team. Allen, a four-year varsity player,  led the Pelicans to an 11-11 record while averaging a team-high 20.7 points per game and 12.3 rebounds per game. He was also named to All-Section, All-Conference, and All-League.  Earlier this year, Allen signed a National Letter of Intent to play lacrosse at the University of Notre Dame.
