Man Found Guilty Of Robbing, Murdering Ossining Resident OSSINING, N.Y. -- A New Jersey man was found guilty Friday of robbing and murdering an Ossining resident. Anthony Grecco, a marijuana dealer according to the U.S. Attorney's office, was convicted of the Aug. 2014 robbery and murder of Ryan Ennis that occurred on Wolden Road. He faces a maximum of life in prison. Ennis met with Grecco under the pretense of getting marijuana, though Grecco intended to rob him and kill him if necessary, according to the US Attorney's Office. Peekskill Employee Suspended After Building Department Break-In PEEKSKILL, N.Y. -- The City of Peekskill's facilities manager has been suspended with pay two days after a break-in at the building department was reported. City Manager Richard Leins announced the suspension of Joe Minnerly in an e-mail to members of the Common Council Friday afternoon. "I wanted to let you know that based on information brought to this office, Joe Minnerly has been suspended with pay effective immediately pending a continuing investigation," Leins wrote. Clearwater Festival Cancelled CROTON-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. -- The Clearwater Festival, held annually at Croton Point Park, will not go on in 2016, Hudson River Sloop Clearwater announced. The organization said they did not have the money to put on the two-day festival, having to pay for the restoration of the sloop Clearwater. Peekskill Building Department Break-In Under Investigation PEEKSKILL, N.Y. -- Peekskill Police are investigating a break-in at the Peekskill Building Department that occurred Wednesday. The door to the building department, which is inside Peekskill City Hall at 840 Main Street, appeared to be forced open and there was damage to the door, according to Mayor Frank Catalina. Westchester Mom Pleads Guilty In Death Of 6-Year-Old Daughter WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- Kathleen Dymes, a Croton-on-Hudson resident accused of killing her 6-year-old daughter Lacey Carr, accepted a plea bargain Tuesday where she will likely not serve jail time. Dymes pleaded guilty in Westchester County Court in White Plains to one count of criminally negligent homicide, a felony; one count of child endangerment, a misdemeanor; and one count of criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor.
