Police Respond To Heroin Overdose In Spring Valley
RAMAPO, N.Y. -- Ramapo Police responded to a restaurant in South Spring Valley for an unresponsive person on Monday afternoon. On arrival, the officers found a male in his 20’s on the ground with another person attempting to provide CPR. The Ramapo officers evaluated the situation and determined that the victim may be under the influence of heroin. The officers administered Naloxone in attempt to reverse the suspected opioid overdose, and the man regained consciousness. The subject was found to be in possession of six glassine envelopes which tested positive for heroin. He was transported …

MOUNT PLEASANT, N.Y. -- Kali Oswald has been named the Rotary Student of the Month for April.Oswald’s life was changed; not in the United States, but in Russia. For ten days, Oswald and her missionary team from Faith Lutheran Brethren Church in Briarcliff Manor traveled to three Russian orphanages to host Vacation Bible School for the children living there.
