Irvington Students Take Highest Honors On National Greek Exam
IRVINGTON, N.Y. -- Thirteen students at Irvington High School who took the National Greek Exam, which is the only standardized exam on ancient Greek in the country, had an outstanding performance and received awards for their high scores. Greenburgh Town Board Hosting Comprehensive Plan Hearing
GREENBURGH, N.Y. -- The GreenburghTown Board will hold a public hearing on the draft Comprehensive Plan on Wednesday, June 8 at 7:30 p.m. In an effort to allow for ample time for residents to comment, the public hearing will not be closed on June 8. Their hearings are held at Greenburgh Town Hall at 177 Hillside Ave. The current draft of the Plan contains a revision date of June 3. A majority of the draft Plan has not changed, when compared to the previously released draft from December 4, 2015. The Plan is available for download on the Town Website.

Graswald Kayak Case Carries On
POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- Angelika Graswald cooperated with authorities the death of her fiancé Vincent Viafore of Poughkeepsie, according to multiple reports. Following Viafore's disappearance on April 19, 2015, Graswald told a police investigator that she pulled a plug and manipulated a ring on his paddle. Graswald, 36, has pleaded not guilty to charges of second-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter in the death of Viafore. Viafore's body was found in the Hudson River nearly a month after Graswald was charged with his murder.
