Groccia was born in Brooklyn on Jan. 27, 1922, to Angelo and Pierina Groccia. He married the love of his life, Marion, in January 1957. Nat, as he was affectionately known by all, served in the Army during World War II from 1942-45 and was awarded two Purple Hearts in combat. He worked for 39 years as a letter carrier for the United States Postal Service. State Police Find Missing Girl, 14, In Pine Plains PINE PLAINS, N.Y. – New York State Police from the Rhinebeck barracks are thanking members of the community who helped them locate Johanna Robison, who was reported missing Sunday night from Pine Plains. Robison, 14, was located by State Police in the Millerton area and is safe.   State police had been seeking the public’s assistance to help locate Robison.    Robison had last been seen about 10 p.m. Sunday on Farview Avenue in Pine Plains. State police had asked anyone with information regarding Robison’s location to contact Troop K by calling 845-677-7300 or 911.
