Man Who Backs Into Police Car Charged With DWI, Orangetown PD Says ORANGETOWN, N.Y. -- A man who had too much to drink backed into an Orangetown Police car on Sunday, according to the Orangetown Police. Jose Guardao of Brooklyn, 27, backed into the police car when he was leaving a parking spot on Artopee Way around 5:24 a.m., police said. When officers spoke to Guardao they smelled alcohol and he had slurred speech and bloodshot eyes, police added. After failing numerous field sobriety tests, Guardao was arrested and charged with DWI. Julio Lema-Caguana, 20, who was being held at the jail on a charge of sexual misconduct, was caught trying to cut through the layers of his cell window during a routine cell inspection, said Det. Lt.
