Claudia Gorman Of Yonkers, 58 Claudia Gorman, 58, a resident of Yonkers and formerly of Hopewell Junction, died Tuesday at home. The daughter of the late Alexander and Vera Perepechko Zukowski, Gorman was born May 2, 1958, in Brooklyn. She was a parishioner of St. Gregory the Theologian Orthodox Church in Wappingers Falls. Gorman is survived by her husband, Robert J. Gorman; children, Michael Gorman (Alysse); Kevin Gorman (Justine Heroux); Alena Gorman, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Sandra Giammette. A service was held on Thursday, with the funeral on Friday.

Man, 25, Who Died After Bear Mountain Bridge Jump ID'd A 25-year-old man took a cab to the Bear Mountain Bridge on Thursday, asked the driver to stop mid-span,  opened the cab door and ran and jumped 150-feet to his death, according to the New York State Police. Dalton Tompkins, whose address is unknown, jumped from the bridge around 8:30 a.m., said Trooper Steven Nevel. Multiple emergency responders from Westchester, Rockland and Orange counties helped search for Tompkins, Nevel said.  His body was recovered by the Stony Point and Fort Montgomery Marine Units, he added.
