Claudia Gorman Of Yonkers, 58
Claudia Gorman, 58, a resident of Yonkers and formerly of Hopewell Junction, died Tuesday at home.
The daughter of the late Alexander and Vera Perepechko Zukowski, Gorman was born May 2, 1958, in Brooklyn. She was a parishioner of St. Gregory the Theologian Orthodox Church in Wappingers Falls.
Gorman is survived by her husband, Robert J. Gorman; children, Michael Gorman (Alysse); Kevin Gorman (Justine Heroux); Alena Gorman, and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her sister, Sandra Giammette.
A service was held on Thursday, with the funeral on Friday.
Man, 25, Who Died After Bear Mountain Bridge Jump ID'd
A 25-year-old man took a cab to the Bear Mountain Bridge on Thursday, asked the driver to stop mid-span, opened the cab door and ran and jumped 150-feet to his death, according to the New York State Police.
Dalton Tompkins, whose address is unknown, jumped from the bridge around 8:30 a.m., said Trooper Steven Nevel.
Multiple emergency responders from Westchester, Rockland and Orange counties helped search for Tompkins, Nevel said.
His body was recovered by the Stony Point and Fort Montgomery Marine Units, he added.

BEDFORD, N.Y. -- Cara Lynn Kernan, 47, of Hillsdale, formerly of Bedford Village, passed away at home on Friday, Feb. 17.
She was born on Oct. 12, 1969, in Mount Kisco to Joseph and Rita (Brust) Iantorno Jr.
Kernan worked in several offices for Columbia County Department of Social Services in Hudson and was a member of the Hillsdale Fire Company and ladies auxiliary.
In addition to her parents, survivors include her children, Nicole R. Kernan, Marissa E. Kernan and Justin R. Kernan; an Aunt Patricia and Uncle Mike Iantorno; several cousins and former husband, Justin P. Kernan.

LAGRANGEVILLE, N.Y. -- Cathleen Adams, 59, of Lagrangeville and previously of Beacon, died on Tuesday following a long illness.
Adams was born in Cold Spring on March 22, 1957, the daughter of the late Mary Adams and Robert B. Adams of Beacon.
She graduated from Beacon High in 1975 and for many years worked at Craig House as a nursing assistant until it closed, then she worked as a clerk at Walmart.
