She spent 17 years at Florida Today in Melbourne, Florida as a general assignment reporter, crime reporter, entertainment reporter and restaurant critic. She worked four years at Hometown News as a general assignment reporter, then another two years at Spacecoast Daily in Cocoa Beach, Florida. She attended Eastern Florida State College in Melbourne, Florida.

Teen Accused Of Crashing Two Stolen Cars In Fairfield County A Fairfield County teen has been charged with allegedly stealing two vehicles and then crashing them. Charles Wood Wright, age 18, of New Canaan, was arrested on Thursday, on a warrant in connection with an incident that took place on Friday, July 2 at New Canaan High School. Person Injured During Carjacking In Fairfield County, Police Say Police in Fairfield County are investigating a carjacking that left one person injured. It happened around 8:35 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 15, in Bridgeport. A Bridgeport police officer was on his way to a vehicle crash when he was flagged down by a citizen at Fairfield Avenue and Norman Street reporting an assault, said Scott Appleby, director of the city's emergency management. Fairfield County Man Nabbed For Hit-Run Crash, DUI, Police Say An area man was charged with allegedly hitting two vehicles and leaving the scene of the crash while driving intoxicated. The incident took place around 10:30 p.m., on Friday, Sept. 10, in Fairfield County when New Canaan Police were dispatched to the area of Main Street on a report of a vehicle that struck two parked cars and left the scene of the crash. Person Struck, Killed By Lirr Train Police from the Metro Transportation Authority are investigating a report of a person fatally struck on the tracks on Long Island. MTA officials said the incident took place around 5 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 15, near the Wantagh Long Island Rail Road Station. Train traffic in both directions was stopped for a time. Man Nabbed For Armed Carjacking In Area, Police Say A Hudson Valley man has been arrested for an alleged carjacking at gunpoint. The incident took place around 5:15 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 12, in Orange County in the area of William and Ann streets in the City of Newburgh, police said. Man Killed In Two-Vehicle Crash In Region A man has died after a crash involving another car in Western Mass. At around 2:50 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 14, officers were called to the 900 block of Boston Road for the crash involving a car and motorcycle, according to Springfield Police spokesman Ryan Walsh. The man driving the motorcycle was taken to Baystate Health where he died from his injuries, Walsh said. Walsh said a preliminary investigation indicates the motorcycle rider was driving at a high rate of speed. The driver of the car remained at the scene.
