The latest round of bullets flying took place around 11 p.m., Thursday, July 29, in Hartford in the area of 29 Elliott St. When officers responded after being notified of the shooting by a Shot Spotter activation, they located a victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in front of 22 Elliott St., said Hartford PD Lt. 18-Year-Old Killed In Long Island Sound Jet Ski Accident A 2021 high school graduate from Fairfield County is being remembered by friends and family after he was killed when two jet skis collided in the Long Island Sound. Matthew (Matt) Horvath, age 18, of Shelton, died on Tuesday, July 27, in Milford, said Will Healy, spokesman for the state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection. Man Nabbed With Semi-Automatic Gun At Train Station In Westchester, Police Say A Westchester man has been accused of having a gun while at an area train station. Menfil M. Barrios, age 44, of New Rochelle, was arrested on Tuesday, July 27, after the Village of Mamaroneck Police Department received a 911 call of a man with a gun at the Mamaroneck Train Station.
