Police ID Victim, Car Thief In Central Jersey Pursuit-Crash That Left Innocent Bystander Dead
Authorities have charged two people and identified the innocent victim killed by car thieves during a wild police pursuit in Old Bridge on Wednesday, Nov. 9. Samuel Villar, 19, of Somerset, was using the vehicle stolen last month to burglarize cars in Marlboro when police began to pursue the car around 2:15 a.m. up Route 9, Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Old Bridge Acting Police Chief Donald F. Members of a protest group angered over climate-changing CO2 and other emissions from private jets glued themselves to huge self-made teepees at Teterboro Airport, disrupting area air and land traffic. While police initially believed that a vehicle involved in a pursuit from Philadelphia to New Jersey was linked to a weekend mass shooting, they say that's no longer the case, according to CBS Philadelphia. The dark-colored Honda Accord matched specific characteristics of a suspect vehicle linked to the shooting that left nine people hurt over the weekend, Chief Inspector Scott Small told the outlet. Car Thief Kills One Person, Hurts 3 In Wild Central Jersey Pursuit: AG
A car thief being pursued by police crashed into several civilian vehicles killing one person and hurting three others overnight in Central Jersey, authorities said. A Marlboro officer was pursuing the car stolen from a local home when it struck unrelated civilian vehicles around 2:15 a.m. near the intersection of Spring Valley Road and Route 9 South, the State Attorney General's office said. The identities of those involved were not being released. The Attorney General’s Office was investigating, as is standard procedure.

Pair Wanted For Using Stolen Car In Newark Shooting: Police
Authorities in Newark are seeking two women in connection with a stolen car used in a September shooting, they said. The fingerprints of Quanazia Bennett, 21, of Newark, and Kelly Devereaux, 24, of Bloomfield, were recovered from the car used in the Sept. 20 incident at 18th Avenue and Hunterdon Street around midnight, Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Female Inmate Dies In Hudson County Jail
The death of a 38-year-old female inmate at the Hudson County Jail is under investigation. The woman was found lifeless inside of her cell around 7:10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 8, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. Officers and onsite medical personnel immediately rendered aid to the woman and she was pronounced dead at approximately 7:34 a.m. The woman was a Union County inmate being house at the Hudson County Correctional Facility. Laser Pointed At Teterboro Airport Flight Under Investigation: FAA
A laser that was pointed at a flight arriving at Teterboro Airport is under investigation. The crew of Air Alsie Flight 6771, a Dassault Falcon 7X jet, reported being illuminated by a blue laser around 5 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 8, according to a statement from the Federal Aviation Association.
