Female Inmate Dies In Hudson County Jail The death of a 38-year-old female inmate at the Hudson County Jail is under investigation. The woman was found lifeless inside of her cell around 7:10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 8, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. Officers and onsite medical personnel immediately rendered aid to the woman and she was pronounced dead at approximately 7:34 a.m. The woman was a Union County inmate being house at the Hudson County Correctional Facility. $10K Mega Millions Winner Sold In Bergen County A Mega Millions ticket good for $10,000 was sold in Bergen County. The ticket from the Tuesday, Nov. 8 drawing matched four of the five white balls and the Gold Mega Ball drawn. The winning numbers were 05, 13, 29, 38 and 59. The Gold Mega Ball was 23, and the Megaplier Multiplier was 04. The lucky ticket was purchased at Quick Shop, 48 Paterson St., in Hillsdale.

Laser Pointed At Teterboro Airport Flight Under Investigation: FAA A laser that was pointed at a flight arriving at Teterboro Airport is under investigation. The crew of Air Alsie Flight 6771, a Dassault Falcon 7X jet, reported being illuminated by a blue laser around 5 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 8, according to a statement from the Federal Aviation Association. No injuries were reported. The FAA informed local law enforcement of the incident. Car Carrier Erupts In Flames On NJ Turnpike A car carrier that burst into flames jammed the NJ Turnpike Tuesday, Nov. 8 in Essex County. Three Cadillac Escalades, a Cadillac XT6 and a Chevy Equinox were damaged in the blaze in the right shoulder of the northbound side of the eastern spur near milepost 107.5 around 12:30 p.m., New Jersey State Police said. Newark firefighters put out the fire, which was deemed non-suspicious, authorities said. No injuries reported.

Crash Involving Unmarked Police Car Jams Paramus Intersection A multi-vehicle crash involving an unmarked police car jammed an intersection in Paramus Tuesday, Nov. 8. The unmarked Glen Rock police SUV was stopped on West Grove Street waiting to turn right on Paramus Road, when another vehicle ran a red light and hit it during morning rush hour, Paramus police tell Daily Voice.
