Police Charge Man, 27, In Route 133 Murder OSSINING, N.Y. -- Ossining Police have arrested and charged a man in the murder of a Yonkers resident whose body was discovered on Route 133 in late August. Joaquin A. Recinos-Garcia, 27, was arrested by Ossining Police on Friday and charged with murdering Luis Blanco, 62 in August. Recinos-Garcia was arraigned on Saturday in Ossining Town Court and remanded to Westchester County Jail without bail. The fire department is hosting its annual open house on Saturday, Oct. 10 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at 591 Scarborough Road in Briarcliff Manor. The event will feature demonstrations, children's activities and food. The Scarborough Engine Company has been part of the Briarcliff Manor Fire Department since 1972. The Briarcliff Manor Fire Department has been all volunteer since 1901 and is always looking for new members.

6-Year-Old's Mother Charged With Negligent Homicide, Says Westchester DA CROTON-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. -- Kathleen Dymes was charged Wednesday with three counts, including criminally negligent homicide, in the death of her 6-year-old daughter, Lacey Carr, according to the Westchester County District Attorney's office. Mother Is Charged In Death Of 6-Year-Old Lacey Carr CROTON-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. -- Kathleen Dymes, the mother of a 6-year-old Croton girl, Lacey Carr, who was found dead in April, surrendered to Croton police Wednesday and is being arraigned in White Plains in the afternoon.
