Police Search For Jefferson Valley Bank Robbery Suspect JEFFERSON VALLEY, N.Y. -- A Putnam County Savings Bank in Jefferson Valley was robbed on Friday afternoon, according to Yorktown Police. At about 2 p.m., a light skinned black male, approximately 6 feet 2 inches tall, and wearing a black baseball hat, sunglasses, light colored pants, and a white and green hoodie walked into the bank, according to police. He handed several plastic bags to the teller and instructed her to put money in the bag, according to police. He then left the bank in an unknown direction. Principal Charged With Stealing $30K From School, Says Westchester DA BEDFORD, N.Y. -- A Yorktown Heights woman was arrested and charged for allegedly stealing $30,000 from St. Patrick's Parochial School in Bedford while she was principal, the Westchester County DIstrict Attorney's Office announced Thursday.
