Stamford Police Video Shows Suspect Torching Car STAMFORD, Conn. -- The Stamford Police Department is attempting to identify a male suspect who was involved with the arson of a car on Vassar Avenue at 1:55 a.m. Nov. 8.  The lone male was driving a light-colored 2001-02 Honda Civic. He is described as a light-skinned male.  The suspect is seen driving around on city streets, then approaching a vehicle on foot, accelerant in hand, and setting fire to it, the video shows.  He is seen dousing the hood of the car with gasoline before he set it on fire, police said.
