Witness Haunted By Fatal Valhalla Train Crash VALHALLA, N.Y. -- Rick Hope, who witnessed the Feb. 3 fatal Valhalla train crash in Valhalla, is haunted by what he saw and has difficulty talking about it, according to lohud.com.Hope was witness to the Mercedes SUV in front of him being hit by a Metro North train at the crossing in Valhalla in which the driver, Ellen Brody, 49, of Edgemont, was instantly killed. The train crash also claimed the lives of five train passengers and 15 were injured. Hope occasionally asks himself if there was anything he could have done to prevent the tragedy, says the report. Police Arrest Man Asleep In Car At Monroe Intersection MONROE, Conn. – A man reportedly was found sleeping in his car Sunday night with its engine on at a main Monroe intersection, according to the Connecticut Post. Police responded to a report of the vehicle, not moving at the Route 111 and Elm Street intersection at 11:19 p.m., says the Post report. The man in the driver’s seat, 23-year old Matthew Rontondo, of Monroe, reportedly had a couple of heroin bags that were empty in his car, according to the Connecticut Post.
