Mahopac Students Design Planes In Engineering Class MAHOPAC, N.Y. -- Students are building prototypes for airplanes in a new engineering class at Mahopac High School. Technology teacher Gary Luciano started teaching three technology classes at the school this year, including one in engineering.  The students are from mixed grades so they can work at different levels, and "still design a plane,” he said in a Facebook post.
