Palisades Residents Back Zoning Board's Decision To Limit House Size ORANGETOWN, N.Y. -- Palisades residents want to make sure the Orangetown Zoning Board of Appeals does not reverse its denial of a proposal for construction of a house that would be twice the size of the largest house in the historic district.So far, about 100 people have signed a petition supporting the board's decision and opposing the project.  A letter to the board cites three occasions, Sept. 8, Oct. 13 and Nov. 10, when the board denied the proposal.
