Mount Vernon Boys & Girls Club Thanksgiving Dinner Draws 200 MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. -- More than 200 community members joined the Boys & Girls Club of Mount Vernon for an annual Thanksgiving dinner.Guests included 70 senior citizens from the Doles Center and the Armory, 20 veterans from Mount Vernon, and 110 children and families from the club.  The event was underwritten by York International Insurance Company, which provided 20 volunteers. After dinner the Revelators and the Alpha Stars performed. The entertainment was followed by dancing and dessert.

Concepcion, 47, was charged with 2nd degree promoting prison contraband and possession of marijuana, police said. Man Charged With DWI In Taconic State Parkway Stop EAST FISHKILL, N.Y. -- A Clinton Corners man was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated on the Taconic State Parkway in a traffic stop the day before Thanksgiving, according to New York State police. Jonathan E. Symer, 61, was stopped Nov. 25 on the parkway for allegedly failing to maintain his designated lane of travel, according to police.
