State Champion Ossining High School Hoops Team Regroups
OSSINING, N.Y. -- With the graduation of six key players, the Ossining High School baketball team, which finished 23-3 and won the Section 1 Class AA title for the fifth time in a row and third New York State championship in March, has regrouped, according to theexaminernewscom.

UConn Proposes Hefty Increases In Tuition
FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. — The University of Connecticut is proposing a hefty increase in tuition — spread over four years — that would cost students thousands of dollars more per year, according to the Hartford Courant.
The proposal, announced Tuesday, would ultimately be an increase of about $3,000 per year for in-state students and $4,000 for out-of-state students, the Courant said.
The tuition increases would occur in stages, going from the current $10,524 for in-state students to $13,799 in the 2019-20 school year and from $32,066 to $36,466 for out-of-state students, according to the st…

POUND RIDGE, N.Y. -- The Pound Ridge estate, Hillandale, for sale for $75 million, is the the highest priced listing among residences in Westchester County, according to lohud.com.The Hillandale property is the largest in New York with 170 of its acreage in Pound Ridge, and 92 located in Stamford, Conn., according to the report.

NY DOT Workshop To Cover Rapid Transit, Pedestrian Safety
ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- A new bus system for Rockland and Westchester willl be up and running in 2018, according to lohud.com.The Hudson Links, as it is unofficially referred to, will take the place of the Tappan ZEExpress when the Tappan Zee Bridge replacement opens, the report says.
